Lessons in Loneliness

LIL is a year long project where we follow Blue, a person struggling with depression and alcoholism. LIL's aim is to expose the everyday thought processes a person struggling with mental illness and addiction may experience - to create empathy or understanding for those dealing with similar issues. So welcome to my graphic diary and Blue's year of struggle and personal growth. I promise the ending is optimistic. If you find yourself relating a bit too much to Blue, please get help. Thank You

I would like to thank my followers and those who made LIL possible. Blue has chosen to reach out and ask for help. I’m deliberately leaving the ending vague as there are many ways to get sober - the key is finding one that works. Not all stories have to end with suicide attempts, drunken arrests or stints on the show Intervention. If you’re in pain, get help.
